Sydney’s newest Indian fashion brand is set to bridge the gap between Indian and Australian fashion scene. Roopanter – The Transformation on Sunday, 6th of August, celebrated the launch of their brand as well showcased their first Freedom Spring ’17 Collection.
Now, on the 70th year of India’s Independence, Shradha Kumar relaunched her brand as “Roopanter – The Transformation” along with her daughter Sanghmitra Kumar, an actor by profession with the Hindi Film Industry since the age of 7. For their latest collection, Shradha and Sanghmitra have designed an assorted collection of bridal lehngas, skirts & corsets, sarees, kurtas and traditional Lucknowi ghararas, providing a refreshing change needed for the Indian Australian community. The outfits aren’t bogged down with excessive work and cheap fabrics. On the contrary, they’ve used some the finest quality chiffons, crepes, velvets and silks from all over India and enhanced it with hand embroideries so the outfits are comfortable, expressive, elegant yet very stylish.
