PILES of illegally dumped building waste have become part of the scenery in Belfield and locals say enough is enough.
Residents have called on Strathfield Council to find those responsible for dumping a 500m trail of waste along Madeline St overnight last Friday.
The waste, including plaster, wood, bricks, metal sheeting and other building material, is being tested for asbestos and has yet to be removed from the street.
A Strathfield Council spokeswoman said a local company has been issued clean-up notices after a 10 day investigation into the incident.
