A record number of drivers are being caught travelling in extreme speeds. The cars of people caught speed driving include Commodores, Aston Martin and Audi. Drivers in Liverpool have racked up the most fines. Greystanes and Campbelltown are high on the list. They are followed by Blacktown and Mt Druitt. Bernard Carlon, Centre for Road Safety, says people are choosing not to drive safely, putting lives at risk. Peter Khoury, NRMA, says if people speed, they will get caught. Jodi McKay, Opposition Roads Minister, says people are fed up with it being about revenue raising. She says they need to change driver behaviour.
