Disunity is growing in the Baird Government, with Liberal backbencher, John Sidoti, calling for Health Minister, Jillian Skinner, to stand down over a lack of funding for Concord Hospital. After making the comments to the Inner West Courier, Sidoti apologised to Skinner, who says she understands his enthusiasm as a local member. Jodi McKay, Labor MP for Strathfield, also believes Skinner should to. Doctors continue to publicly criticise Skinners leadership. The ABC has revealed the Royal North Shore Hospital is unhappy with the Government's plans to move health bureaucrats onsite, instead of reserving the area for medical care. Today, doctors at Nepean Hospital have added to the debate. They say that the department is welcome in Penrith.
